Hello hello! One of the projects that I have been working on so studiously the past few weeks (and has resulted in the recent dearth of content) has been an I/O(input/output) shield & mounting system for the Raspberry Pi 3.
As mentioned in our most recent article, this is one of those things that hasn’t yielded much “content fruit” which is one of those things that’s really only problematic if you have only one writer on a site (like this one). The Raspberry Pi I/O shield has been extremely interesting, though. It takes a certain amount of discipline to take each iteration out of the printer, check the calipers or how a wall is looking to see if it lines up the ports, model, and do it all over again.
There isn’t much to say about it except that it’s fun, and hopefully you think it’s going to be neat when it’s done! I have a few projects in mind that it will be useful for. Hopefully it won’t take a few more weeks to make.
